A man has said a group of youths followed him and his son home from school before hurling death threats, stones and glass bottles at them. Police have spoken to "a number of youths involved" in the Cardiff incident which happened at around 3.13pm on Friday in Singleton Road, Splott.
The dad and nine-year-old boy say they were targeted after walking from the nearby Moorland Primary School on the last day of term. The violence was linked to an argument from weeks earlier between the boy and another pupil at the school, the dad claimed.
"As we came out of the school on Friday there were two guys following us," he said. "We arrived at our home and two more guys joined them. They were about 16 years old and had balaclavas covering their faces. They were referencing the incident at the school, and I was saying that the school had already separated the children in class and it was all sorted.
