RAIPUR: Tension prevailed in Jashpur town in Chhattisgarh after right-wing groups took to the streets in protest alleging the sale of beef and also beat up two youths at a cloth shop in the Kotwali area on Thursday.
A day before chief minister Bhupesh Baghel is scheduled to visit Pathalgaon of Jashpur, the district observed ‘bandh’ on Friday as right-wing groups had called for ‘bandh’.
