The Tennessee Volunteers secured their spot in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament by defeating Texas 62-58 in a hard-fought battle. Led by coach Rick Barnes, the Volunteers are now aiming to surpass their previous Sweet 16 exits and make a deeper run in the tournament.

Dalton Knecht emerged as a key player for Tennessee, scoring 18 points and showcasing his composure by sinking crucial free throws in the final seconds of the game. Despite facing a tough shooting night, Knecht's performance was instrumental in securing the victory.
