After the Tennessee Titans revealed their initial 53-man roster on Tuesday, they turned their attention to putting the practice squad together on Wednesday.
And they did so rather quickly, as the team announced its practice squad moves a little over an hour after the waiver claims processed.
Among the highlights are the Titans bringing back a slew of former draft picks and undrafted free agent signings, as well as quarterback Logan Woodside. Adding to that, every player signed to Tennessee’s practice squad was with the team in camp this year.
Once surprise omission from the group is linebacker Jack Gibbens, who was a standout in camp and the preseason.
One interesting caveat: teams are normally allowed to keep 16 players on the practice squad, but because the Titans have tight end Thomas Odukoya as part of the International Player Pathway Program, he doesn’t count towards the 16-man limit, giving the Titans an extra.
Now, without further ado, a look at the Titans’ initial 16-man practice squad ahead of the 2022 season.
