The Tennessee Titans took part in their first day of organized team activities on Monday, and while it wasn’t open to the media, the team released some photos and videos from it after.
Following Monday’s session, the Titans will be back at it on Tuesday, which is expected to be open to the media. Tennessee will then have another day of OTAs on May 25 before shutting it down until May 30.
From the videos on Monday we know that running back Derrick Henry is in attendance, which is noteworthy because this is earlier than he usually reports for the voluntary portion of the offseason program.
Other notable players spotted included quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has been there since Day 1 of the offseason program, and defensive lineman Jeffery Simmons.
On the flip side, there was no photo or video evidence that safety Kevin Byard is there.
Of course, Byard is not required to report until mandatory minicamp on June 6, but the veteran usually reports earlier than this. One has to wonder if his absence has anything to do with the team asking him to take a pay cut this offseason, to which he refused.
Nevertheless, here’s a look at the photos and videos provided by the team from the first day of organized team activities on Monday.
