If you’re a lip reader, you could probably tell that what Tennessee’s Drew Gilbert said to home-plate umpire Kellen Levy after a borderline strike call appeared to be NSFW.
It got Gilbert tossed on Friday, along with Vols pitching coach Frank Anderson. And that’s really bad news for both, because they’ll receive an automatic suspension for the next game against Notre Dame.
But it was Gilbert’s reaction that became an instant meme — he was shocked and his jaw dropped when he realized he had been thrown out of the game.
