It’s been no secret that the Tennessee Titans are in the midst of one of the worst collapses in recent memory.
If the Titans lose on Saturday evening to the Jacksonville Jaguars in a winner-take-all primetime showdown that will ultimately decide the AFC South champion by evening’s end, Tennessee will have lost seven straight games to end its disappointing 2022 season.
On top of the obvious embarrassment, this 2022 squad would also own sole possession of the second-longest losing streak of the entire Titans era. Only the woeful 2014 campaign would have produced a longer losing skid at 10.
This year’s team is currently tied for the second-longest streak of the Titans era, equaling the skids of the 2009, 2010, and 2015 teams. Tennessee is already in the midst of the longest losing streak of the Mike Vrabel era, though.

The Titans will have the rare opportunity to avoid a complete collapse this weekend while simultaneously accomplishing one of their major goals in the form of division superiority for the third consecutive season.
In order to do so, Tennessee has to go on the road to Jacksonville and beat a hot Jaguars team that has won five of its last six games, including a Week 14 victory over the Titans, 36-22.
