ITV Tenable host Warwick Davis had viewers in stitches this week with his lengthy explanation for a strange but simple question on his quiz show.
The Rangers women's team was in the spotlight on Wednesday as the star spent time describing what he was looking for as they were tasked with naming "10 frozen vegetables after broccoli sold at Iceland".
Team member Zoe Ness was baffled at the clumsily-worded question and looked slightly confused as she stared at the board.
Picking up on her uncertainty on what he was asking, Warwick said: "Let me clarify this for you.
"We are looking for the 10 vegetables that come after broccoli, alphabetically, which are sold separately at Iceland as part of their own brand range.
"There are no potato products on our list."
Zoe and her team weren't the only ones unsure of what was going on, and the clip soon went viral when it was posted on Twitter by a Tenable fan who said it left him in "total hysterics".
Comedian Greg James reposted the video, quoting Warwick's line in the caption: "THERE ARE NO POTATO PRODUCTS ON OUR LIST". Iceland itself responded to the long-winded explanation with: "OK – even WE don't understand this question..."
Someone else commented: "He should have been clearer that 'some items may appear in this list which are not in a scientific sense vegetables.'"
Another viewer replied: "There is no scientific sense of the word vegetable. Basically means 'a savoury part of a plant you eat'. But can be defined differently."
Today, appearing on Friday's episode of This Morning to discuss his viral success, Willow actor Warwick told hosts Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary that he thought it was "amazing" the TV moment has been re-shared across social media so much and he was delighted that people had found his lines on the show "funny for once".
Explaining that ITV has to offer explanations so thorough due to legal reasons, he revealed he had no idea he was viral until his wife Samantha told him.
Admitting he couldn't remember the now legendary moment taking place while he rewatched the clip with Dermot and Alison, he said he had asked producers in the past if he could scale back his blurbs he's required to say but he's been told he can't.
He added: "I can’t remember this but the contestants look bored, don’t they.
"My wife said you’ve gone viral, I said 'okay what did the doctor say?'
"It's brilliant, I always like being down with the kids."
Rangers skipper Brianna Westrup helped her side score £15,500 for Socceraid on the prime time quiz show.
Appearing on Tenable for Soccer Aid, the Light Blue's women's team joined host Warwick Davis on the programme which aired on Wednesday.
