Ten of the RTE Executive board members are being paid over €200,000 a year.
The massive remuneration figures were released to members of the Oireachtas media committee late on Tuesday, after 10pm.
The stunning pay levels are far more than what are paid to many hard-working high profile staff members who the public see on their screens and hear on their radio every day.

Non-staff, contract employees, like Ryan Tubridy are paid more again, but these ‘talent’ contractors do not have full-time contracts like many of the executive board do.
It reveals that a ‘presenting and non-management’ at the top of the list’s salary came to €515,00 last year. This is widely understood to be Mr Tubridy.
The figures were part of a huge tranche of documents released at the last minute last night ahead of another high-profile media committee on Wednesday afternoon.
The figures show that the top, unnamed, executive has a salary package worth €275,000. The top 100 paid RTE employees all earn over €116,000.
The document says that there are ten executives on the list of 100 salaries provided, although no names are given.
However, counting down through the list, the tenth person listed as ‘executive’ was paid €201,661 up to the end of December 2022.
