Cristiano Ronaldo has been dropped by Portugal coach Fernando Santos for their crucial last-16 clash with Switzerland.
The former Manchester United man reacted angrily to being substituted during Selecao's recent loss against South Korea, with it now confirmed he will begin the tie from the substitute bench.
Having yet to confirm his next move following his release from Old Trafford, the 37-year-old looks like to join Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr following the tournament in the Middle East, with some reports suggesting he is set to earning £200m a year.
