Temperatures are set to rise to 25C in Greater Manchester by the middle of next week, according to the Met Office.
Tomorrow (Saturday August 6) is due to see highs of 20C and experts predict that it will remain dry through the day. Meteorologists predict hazier conditions at times, but still expect it to feel warm in the sunshine.
After the weekend finishes, it is set to get warmer and warmer throughout next week. Monday will see highs of 22C, before it increases to 24C on Tuesday and 25C on Wednesday and Thursday. Met Office's outlook from Saturday to Tuesday reads: "Largely dry and settled over the coming days. Cloudy in the north on Sunday but lengthy periods of sunshine for most into next week. Increasingly feeling very warm by day."

The long range weather forecast for the period between Wednesday (August 10) and Friday August 19 continues: "Temperatures are expected to continue above average, becoming very warm or hot in the south and rather warm to warm in the north.
"Into the weekend and through next week, mainly dry and settled weather will likely continue for most. The north is expected to see the most of any precipitation, but there is a low risk of thunderstorms developing in the south.
"Temperatures will likely range from warm to very warm for much of England and Wales, especially across the southern parts. Near normal to warm elsewhere."
