The handroll sushi bar Temaki is to reopen in Mayfair next month after closing its restaurant in Brixton in 2025.
Founded by the New York financier-turned-restaurateur Alexander Dupee in 2021, Temaki was inspired by handroll bars in California and soon earned a loyal following in Brixton. It helped that prices were kept low — somewhere around £40-a-head — which was somewhat unusual among London’s sushi offerings.
