Sefton is steeped in history, from spending summer weekends at the beach in Southport, grabbing an ice cream to knocking around the Strand Shopping Centre. The borough has plenty to offer and people from across Merseyside have spent their free time making the most of what it has to offer.
Whether you had one memorable win at the Grand National, or your mate had one horrendous bet, to a family day out admiring the Iron Men on Crosby beach, people have their own favourite memories of growing up in Sefton.
Some will remember Princess Diana's famous Tesco trip back in 1992 but, whatever the memory, we'd love to hear some memorable tales from our readers.
