A private investigator has shared the tell-tale signs your partner is cheating on you. Daniel Anderson said both men and women regularly hire him to catch out their unfaithful partners - but most of his clients looking for help in this area are female.
He then launches discreet investigations to work out exactly if there is any truth behind his clients' suspicions. He says instincts can be spot on when it comes to the feeling that someone you love is betraying you.
Mr Anderson works on cases of cheating partners - dubbed matrimonial surveillance - and 'pre-matrimonial surveillance'. The second type of investigation is for soon-to-be newlyweds looking for some extra reassurance.
Mr Anderson, who has a background in security and close protection, launched Anderson & Co Surveillance and Private Investigators Ltd in 2019. He told Birmingham Live: "People don't come to us when they have one small red flag about someone. Often, there is a lot more to it.
"I will always try and prepare clients for it and tell them to go into it with an open mind - hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Nine times out of ten, if a client is getting in touch, and it's a valid reason, they have not dreamt or imagined it. We talk about a good instinct - there is something about a woman's intuition.
"There's this idea that we hack systems to get information on people but we don't. We have access to private systems and databases which we spend a lot of money on, which allow us to find this information. That's all done legally and ethically."
Mr Anderson has revealed some of the signs you may have a cheating partner:
- Coming home late - or staying out longer
- Being secretive on the phone
- A lack of intimacy
- Heading straight for the shower after returning home
- Anything which was previously not a normal activity, such as a new hobby, which then becomes repetitive "all of a sudden"
- Working later or more often
Frequent business trips
Becoming more conscious about their appearance
Passwords changing
Surveillance services into potential cheating partners start from £500 and can reach up to £3,000.
