Over the last few months, people across Glasgow have been selling their coins well over face value, with one 'rare' 50p Brexit coin' reportedly selling for as much as £10,000.

In addition to this, Glasgwegian coin seller also managed to pocked £1,500 for a 50p coin featuring the much-loved Paddington Bear standing outside famous London locations - including Buckingham Palace.

And it doesn't stop there, with more sellers from the UK bagging some cash having sold a £2 First World War coin from 2016.
