According to police officials, Sanchita was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her home in the Nallasopara area around 7 pm when she was alone. Authorities were alerted shortly after the incident, and a police team immediately visited the scene.
"We did not find anything suspicious at the spot, and no suicide note was recovered," a police official told PTI.
The actor's father informed the Achole Police that he does not suspect any foul play or hold anyone responsible for his daughter's death. Based on the preliminary investigation, police have registered a case of accidental death and launched further inquiries to determine the circumstances that led to the tragic incident.
Sanchita's body has been sent to a government hospital for a postmortem examination.
