It was once a former industrial area that has been transformed into Newcastle's creative hub.
Ouseburn has long been known by Geordies as one of the city's trendiest communities and now UK travel experts have discovered the area for themselves.
The Telegraph has named Ouseburn as one of 'Britain's coolest neighbourhoods' after searching the country to find 15 of its "favourite urban" spots that are far from the tourist crowds. Oliver Smith, deputy head of travel at the Telegraph, said the places featured on the list have been nominated by locals and representing all four UK nations.
