HYDERABAD: Telangana's electorate has decisively mandated the Congress party in a historic triumph, bidding a resounding "bye-bye" to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
With the resonant slogan "Marpu Kavali Congress Ravali," the party clinched 64 seats in the Telangana Legislative Assembly polls, just four above the magic figure of 60 seats. It is a remarkable growth from their 2018 tally of 19. The Congress party is working on electing its Legislative Party leader, who will be the new Chief Minister of the State.
