HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 767 cases on Thursday, continuing a declining trend in new cases.
The total number of cases in the state stands at 7,81,603 while the death toll stands at 4,105 taking into count 2 deaths recorded on Thursday.
A total of 2,861 patients were declared recovered, taking the total tally of recoveries so far to 7,59,744. Currently, there are 17,754 patients under treatment.
The recovery rate currently stands at 97.20 percent while the fatality rate stands at 0.53 percent.
On Thursday, a total of 58,749 samples were tested. Telangana has now completed testing 3.28 crore samples.
The GHMC recorded 228 new cases- the highest among districts, followed by 54 in Medchal Malkajgiri. Districts like Bhadadri Kothagudem saw 24 cases, Karimnagar saw 30 cases, 28 cases in Nalgonda and 27 new cases in Hanmakonda. tnn
