Minister of state for jal shakti Bishweswar Tudu said the two state governments have not handed over jurisdiction of operational projects as specified in Schedule II of the notification to Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) and Godavari River Management Board (GRMB).

"The state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have not provided seed money of ₹200 crore each to GRMB and KRMB. If approvals are not obtained within six months after the publication of this notification, full or partial operation, if any, of the said ongoing unapproved projects should cease to operate," he added.
