Telangana raises age limit for police jobs by 2 years

HYDERABAD: Following mutiple appeals and days of protest by police job aspirants, the Telangana government on Friday decided to increase the upper age limit by two more years, for all recruitments to the state's police department.

"CM KCRhas taken decision to increase the upper age limit by two more years in the recruitment of posts in state police department," an official release stated adding that he has instructed chief secretary, Somesh Kumar and the state DGP, M Mahender Reddy, to immediately initiate measures in this direction.
