Telangana: Panchayat secretary held over bribe

HYDERABAD: Anti- corruption bureau sleuths on Friday nabbed the panchayat secretary of Muthyampet village after he allegedly accepted Rs7,000 bribe to do an official favour to the complainant.

ACB officials said that the accused asked the bribe to provide a widow pension to complainant’s daughter. Case is being investigated.
