HYDERABAD: With the state declaring holidays for all educational institutions in Telangana for the next three days, due to heavy rains, Osmania University (OU) and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad have postponed their respective examinations scheduled between July 11 and July 13.
The varsities said that rescheduled timetable will be released in due course of time. “Following the memo issued by the government of Telangana on Sunday, OU declares holidays to all the colleges under its jurisdiction from July 11 to July 13. Furthermore, it is informed that all the examinations scheduled from July 11 to July 13 have been postponed, and the rescheduled timetable for these postponed examinations will be made available on the OU website in due course of time.
As of now the other examinations from July 14 will be held as per the original schedule,” a release from OU read. Similarly, a circular from JNTU read, “The B Tech/B Pharm IV Year II semester regular and supplementary examinations of the university scheduled on July 11 and the B Tech/B Pharm IV Year I semester supplementary examinations of the university scheduled on July 12 have been postponed and the rescheduled dates will be intimated soon. However, the remaining university examinations scheduled from July 16 onwards will be conducted as per the schedule already given.
