Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has said that she did not take part in two major programmes of the State government recently because she did not receive any invitation.
Ms. Soundararajan said this during her visit to Tirumala on Wednesday when the media asked her to comment about her absence in the said programmes.
Earlier, the Telangana Governor offered her prayers at the Lord Venkateswara temple here.
Upon her arrival at the temple, she was accorded a traditional welcome by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Executive Officer A. V. Dharma Reddy and priests.
Speaking to media, Ms. Soundararajan said that she prayed to the deity for the well-being of the people of both the Telugu States. She appreciated the changes brought in the darshan pattern.
