HYDERABAD: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Tuesday grilled Telangana Rasthra Samithi (TRS) MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy in connection with a Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) violation case.
Reddy appeared before ED authorities in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Sources said a case had been booked against the TRS MLA regarding “the allegations of violations in dealing with the foreign exchange”.
Reddy represents TRS from Ibrahimpatnam assembly constituency.
He heads the RangaReddy district as party president.
Manchireddy has been actively involved in Munugode bypoll strategies where several local leaders joined TRS in his presence recently.
Recently, Manchireddy conducted a homam at his farmhouse in which top TRS leaders, including MLC Klavakuntla Kavita, also took part.
