Two teenagers have been arrested and charged after an alleged skate park attack in Glasgow left two other teens hospitalised.
We told how a 17-year-old girl and 18-year-old woman were reportedly assaulted in Kelvingrove Park at around 9pm on Monday.
Police on Tuesday confirmed that both were rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with one of them suffering serious injuries.
On Thursday evening officers revealed that a boy, aged 16, and an 18-year-old man have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The 18-year-old is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday April.
Meanwhile the the 16-year-old is expected to appear in court at a later date.
A spokesperson from Greater Glasgow Police Division said: "Two males, aged 18 and 16, have been arrested and charged in connection with an assault in the west end of Glasgow.
"The incident happened at the skate park in Kelvingrove Park around 9pm on Monday, April 4.
"Two females, aged 17 and 18, were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment afterwards.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
"The 18-year-old man is expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Friday, 8 April and the 16-year-old at a later date."
