A teenager who died in a bike crash had the keys to his motorbike taken off him by his worried mum, an inquest heard. Stuart Macleod was not wearing a helmet and was over the alcohol limit when he suffered fatal injuries in the collision.
Before the crash the 17-year-old's mum had been so concerned that she took the keys to his machine - only for the teenager to find the spares and ride away from his home to meet friends.
He suffered fatal brain injuries when he crashed into a parked car, the MEN reports. The factory worker died in hospital two days later.
