Teenager rushed to hospital after stabbing at Debden Underground station

Police are investigating after a teenager was stabbed at a north-east London Underground station.

British Transport Police (BTP) officers rushed to Debden Tube station shortly before 10pm on Saturday (December 23) to reports a teen had been attacked with a knife.

The 18-year-old was taken to hospital with what police described as "a potentially life changing injury".

BTP is investigating the incident, and on Thursday urged anyone with information about what happened to get in touch.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is urged to text British Transport Police on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40 with ref 663 of December 23.
