A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after another teenager was stabbed to death following an altercation at a Melbourne shopping centre.
Emergency services were called to an outdoor food court at Woodgrove Shopping Centre, in Melton West, at 11.50am on Tuesday.
First responders attempted to provide CPR to the 16-year-old from Harkness, in Melbourne's outer west, but he died at the scene.
A Melton West boy was later arrested by police and will now be interviewed.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing.
