A woman who poured boiling water over her former friend before stabbing her in the leg over cheating allegations is facing jail.
Princess Owusu Ansah, 18, recorded the attack on her mobile phone, in a clip that ended up on Shapchat and went viral.
In the harrowing footage, the victim, another young woman, can be seen cowering under a duvet and screams in pain as Owusu Ansah took a kettle of boiling water and threw the contents over her.
The teenage attacker delivers a series of punches before grabbing a silver knife, banging the weapon on the radiator and then stabbing her victim in the leg.
At the start of the video, seconds before launching the attack, Owusu Ansah accuses the other woman of sleeping with “people’s man”, accusing her of “think(ing) she can get away with it”.
The attack happened at the victim’s home on the Dog Kennel Hill Estate in Dulwich on February 2.
The victim managed to get away and flee into the street, and was later treated at Kings College Hospital for her injuries including stab wounds.
Met Police officers were alerted after a member of the public saw the video posted on Snapchat.
At Inner London crown court on Monday, Owusu Ansah pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm and criminal damage.
She was remanded in custody until a sentencing hearing on 9 May.
“Owusu Ansah has pleaded guilty to stabbing her former friend”, said Claudette Hamilton, Senior CPS Prosecutor.
“She turned up at the victim’s home and put her in absolute fear for her life.
“Whilst this was happening, she gratuitously recorded the events on her mobile phone and posted this on social media.
“I hope that with these early guilty pleas and a sentence date fixed, the victim feels that we are well on the way to justice being delivered”
