Teenage star Rio Ngumoha inspires Liverpool to much-needed win over Fulham

  • Rio Ngumoha, 17, opened the scoring with a well-taken goal and looked dangerous throughout before he was replaced in the second half.
  • Mohamed Salah, playing for the first time at Anfield since announcing he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, scored his team’s second goal.
  • The win keeps Liverpool in fifth place and opens up a four-point gap to Chelsea before the Blues face Manchester City on Sunday.
  • It was also a much-needed boost for Liverpool before their return leg against PSG in the Champions League on Tuesday.
