Teenage girl seriously injured in huge gang fight involving '13 to 16 people' in East Kilbride

Police have launched an appeal for information after a teenage girl sustained serious injuries in a gang fight in East Kilbride.

Between 13 and 16 people are believed to have been involved in the rammy, which took place around 8pm on Sunday (January 16) in the Haldane Place area.

Emergency services attended and the 16-year-old female youth was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
