A teenage girl has been charged with an assault and robbery of two females at Connolly train station in Dublin.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be identified because she is a minor, appeared at the Dublin Children’s Court today.
She is charged with robbing a female of a €900 e-scooter and assault causing harm to a second female on July 17, 2022.

Garda Kelly McKiernan said the girl made no reply when charged today. The Director of Public Prosecutions recommended sending the case forward on indictment to the Circuit Court, which has wider sentencing powers.
Judge John O’Leary noted from defence solicitor Paddy McGarry that there had to be a preliminary hearing to determine her trial venue.
The girl was ordered to provide the garda with a contact phone number, stay out of Connolly station and have no contact with the alleged injured parties.
She has yet to indicate a plea and must reappear at the same court later this month.
Legal aid was granted.
