Teenage girl, 16, seriously injured after being struck by car in Dublin as gardai issue appeal

A young girl was seriously injured after an incident on a busy Dublin road on Sunday.

The collision involving a 16-year-old pedestrian and a car happened on the N11, Stillorgan Road just before 10pm.

Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene of the incident which happened on the southbound lanes of the dual carriageway near Foster Avenue.
