A teenager is in hospital following a reported 'stabbing' on a Scots street.
Emergency services raced to Provosts Land in Leslie, Fife, at 9.25pm yesterday. Medics attended and found a 16-year-old boy with serious injuries.
The teenager was blue-lighted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment, where his current condition is unknown. Officers probing the incident say they are following a positive line of inquiry.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At 9.25pm on Saturday, September 24, officers were called to a report of a 16-year-old male youth having been seriously injured following a disturbance on Provosts Land, Leslie. Emergency services attended and he was taken to Ninewells Hospital to be treated.
"Officers are following a positive line of enquiry.”
