Dublin student Andrew O'Donnell who died on a Greek island will be laid to rest today.
The 18-year-old was one of the two students who tragically lost their lives while on holiday in Ios where they were celebrating the end of the Leaving Cert exams with a large group of students. Both Andrew and Max Wall were students of St Michael’s College in Ballsbridge.
Max, also 18, was buried at Kilternan Cemetery Park on Monday. Meanwhile, Andrew will be laid to rest in a private family cremation following a funeral mass at 11am at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook.
The two students died in separate incidents at the start of the month. Andrew, who became separated from a friend while walking home at night, died from a fall while Max’s death was attributed to cardiac problems.

Max had a history of heart issues for which he had previously undergone surgery.
In an emotional death notice on RIP.ie, Andrew's family said: "It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of our beloved Andrew who departed from this world far too soon. Andrew passed away unexpectedly leaving behind a void that can never be filled.
"Andrew brought immense joy to the lives of his family, friends, and all who knew him. He possessed a vibrant spirit, a kind heart, and a sense of humour that brightened the darkest of days."
They added: "He was known for his passion for sports, his footballing talents, his charming demeanour, and his love for his two golden retrievers, Marnie and Maisie. He was unfailingly loyal to his friends and relatives, in Ireland and England, and touched the lives of so many during his short time with us."
