A teenager had to be taken to hospital in Leeds last night after an assault that meant the road was still closed the next day.
West Yorkshire Police said the man, 19, was treated for head injuries after they were called out to the assault at a pub on Albion Street in Morley town centre. A cordon was in place this morning, Saturday, December 24, as investigations continued.
The assault happened around 11.30pm on December 23. Police are asking anyone with information to get in touch.

The full statement from West Yorkshire Police reads: "At 11:30pm last night (Friday, 23 December) police received a report of an assault at a pub on Albion Street, Morley. Emergency services attended the location.
"A 19-year-old male victim was taken to hospital via ambulance for treatment on injuries to his head which are not believed to be life-changing. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
