MUMBAI: Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is also a hero to those outside the cricketing community. Recently, Tendulkar turned teen mountaineer Nima Rinji Sherpa's dream into a reality when he fulfilled the latter's wish to meet the icon before he would become the youngest individual to have climbed all 14 peaks in the world over 8000 metres.
Nima has already scaled 12 of the world's highest peaks.
