A 15-year-old boy named Islam Khalilov is being hailed as a hero for his quick thinking and bravery during the terrorist attack at a Moscow concert hall on Friday. Khalilov, who works as a cloakroom attendant at the Crocus City Hall where the shooting took place, led over 100 people to safety, potentially preventing further casualties.
Describing the harrowing experience, Khalilov recalled hearing strange sounds and realizing the danger unfolding. Despite feeling scared, he took charge of the situation and guided terrified concertgoers towards an emergency exit, shouting instructions to ensure their safety.
