Two teenage girls have been charged following an alleged attack which took place near a school in North Lanarkshire.
The alleged incident happened on the Mossland Drive area of Wishaw on the evening of Friday, September 2. Cops launched an investigation into the reported assault and, as a result, two 13-year-old girls have been charged in relation.
Officers say the probe is continuing, while a report is being submitted to the Children's Reporter.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two 13-year-old female youths have been charged in connection with an assault which happened in the Mossland Drive area of Wishaw around 5pm on Friday, 2 September, 2022.
“Enquiries are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Children’s Reporter.”
