Sarah Lindsey Santiago, 17, may face life behind bars after being accused of assisting two teenage gunmen who carried out the deadly San Diego mass shooting on 18 May. Santiago allegedly livestreamed the attack and distributed the gunmen's extremist manifesto.
The North Carolina teenager was indicted by a grand jury on Monday, 31 August, on three counts of murder and one count of conspiracy. Santiago wasn't present at the mosque during the attack, but prosecutors allege that Santiago agreed beforehand to record the shooting.
