A nineteen-year-old has proposed to his 76-year-old girlfriend. But many social media users were quick to troll the couple's age gap as they announced the news on TikTok.
Giuseppe D'Anna, 19, has taken the Internet by storm after announcing the news in a video. The teen, who has more than 191,000 followers on the video-sharing platform, posted a compilation of images on Tuesday, showing him kneeling on his right knee in front of his girlfriend.
He is pictured holding more than a dozen huge balloons in the shape of a heart and passionately kissing his partner, reports The Mirror. The video, which has been viewed over 138,500 times, is captioned 'La nostra promessa' which translates to 'our promise'.
