A teenager has been arrested after a blaze tore its way through a Scots home.
Fire crews scrambled to Ardshiel Avenue in Edinburgh on Wednesday, June 8 at 9pm.
Four fire engines were drafted in to battle the flames along with several cop vehicles and an ambulance crew.
Firefighters worked through the night to put the inferno out.
Nobody was injured as a result of the blaze, Edinburgh Live reports.
Police Scotland have since confirmed that an 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fire.
Inquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a fire within a property on Ardshiel Avenue in Edinburgh around 9.20pm on Wednesday, 9 June, 2022.
“The fire was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no-one was injured as a result of the fire.
“An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and inquiries are ongoing.”
