Tech & Science Daily: We speak to the team behind VR technology for heart patients

Researchers hope using VR to practise heart surgery could benefit patients, shorten operating times, and reduce the need for multiple surgeries.

Tech & Science Daily spoke to John Simpson who’s leading the research into the tech, which creates a three-dimensional beating digital double of the heart.

Kuberan Pushparajah led part of the study and says the tech can also be used to help patients and their families understand their heart problems.
