Tech & Science Daily: ‘Robotaxis’ with video games and vending machines

Chinese tech giant Baidu is taking the autonomous vehicle game to the next level.

It’s revealed pictures of a new fully electric, fully autonomous taxi, which it plans to roll out across the country.

The Apollo RT6 comes with a detachable steering wheel, which Baidu says will free up room for extra seats, as well as things like vending machines and gaming consoles.

The CEO and President of AI Enterprise company Amelia told Tech & Science Daily that artificial intelligence can eventually achieve sentience.

Chetan Dube is well aware of the importance of building ethics into high-performance AI and said there needs to be focus on doing that now.

It’s not been plain sailing for Elon Musk’s Tesla ‘Cybertruck’, but he has revealed they will start being delivered to customers next summer.
