Tech & Science Daily: Disney Plus with ads on the horizon?

As Disney plus prepares to bring in a cheaper ad-supported subscription service, there are fresh reports about how long its ad breaks might be.

According to Variety and the Wall Street Journal, the streaming service will run ads for four minutes on movies or shows that last an hour or less.

The ad-supported service is due to begin in the states later this year, and launch in other countries from next year - but there are no details yet on how much it’ll cost.

The planet broke four climate records last year.

That’s according to a report from the World Meteorological Organisation.

The report also confirmed that the past seven years have been the warmest on record.
