A tech expert has re-shared a genius hack to make sure you don't lose your phone at Electric Picnic. Well, we can't guarantee you won't lose it but this tip will almost certainly help you get it back.
Every year, EP organisers post pictures and information on thousands of items left behind in Stradbally; from wallets, phones and keys to tents and clothing.
Phones are one of the most common items lost at festivals as revellers snap pictures and record their favourite acts before leaving the phone down somewhere and partying on elsewhere.

Jess Kelly, Newstalk's Tech Correspondent, has posted a timely reminder of a lock screen hack for your phone.
Jess said: "If you’re going to Electric Picnic this weekend, write up a note like this and set it as your screen lock image. That way if you lose your phone, whoever finds it will know who to call to give it back."
To create this page, simply open the Notes app on your phone, hit return a couple of times to leave a blank space at the top (so your date/time don't block the numbers) and type in a message asking whoever finds the phone to contact the numbers of a couple of people close to you.
You then go to display settings and set it as your home screen and lock screen, most importantly for the duration of the festival.
Provided your phone hasn't died in the meantime and the people you choose as contacts haven't similarly lost their phones, you should be able to retrieve your phone pretty easily if it's being picked up by an honest individual.
This hack is not new but hasn't been as widely known in recent years in the absence of live events and festivals due to Covid restrictions. Electric Picnic is taking place this weekend for the first time since 2019.
