Tech company reveals new sports broadcast streaming system

A British company involved with the live broadcast of major sporting events over more than 20 years, including the Premier League, the Rugby World Cup and the Olympics, today revealed new technology that will enable broadcasters to stream their live coverage to billions of people.

Techex, based in Bracknell, Berkshire - which started in 1971 as a media technology business now counts Sky, Disney, NBC Universal, BBC, BT Sport and IMG as customers.
