Campaigners believe a rat problem is "out of control" in Falkirk as they call for the council to reinstate pest control and vow to keep fighting.
Members of Falkirk District Action Group held a public meeting in Bainsford Community Hall on Tuesday evening, where those attending told officials about their concerns over rodents.
Founder member Janine Reilly said she was disappointed that the hall was not busier but explained to the council officers that since setting up the group, hundreds of people have got in touch through their Facebook page.
