Following the surprising loss of the Team USA women's team to Azerbaijan, the men's 3x3 basketball team faced a similar fate, being defeated by Poland with a score of 19-17. The US team, consisting of Jimmer Fredette, Canyon Barry, Kareem Maddox, and Dylan Travis, struggled against Poland's aggressive play.
Poland's seven-foot-one player, Adrian Bogucki, proved to be a dominant force inside the paint, leading all scorers with seven points and contributing five rebounds. Despite the efforts of Barry and Travis, who each scored six points for the US team, they were unable to overcome Poland's physicality.
